If your statement shows a small extra amount next to your order, it is usually your bank's fee rather than part of the price you agreed with us.
Why it happens
Many banks charge a percentage when a payment is processed in a currency other than your account's, or when the merchant is outside your country. The fee is set by your bank and goes to your bank. We never see it and cannot refund it.
How to avoid it
- Set your currency in your account settings to the currency your card is billed in.
- Check the total shown at checkout before paying. That figure is what we charge.
- If your bank charges for any foreign merchant regardless of currency, paying from your SimFuse wallet or with crypto avoids the card network entirely.
When the difference is larger than a fee
If the amount is meaningfully different rather than a small percentage, it may not be a fee at all. See "I was charged in a different currency than I expected", or contact us with the amount you expected and the amount you were charged.
