No. You pay one upfront price and nothing else, with no bill waiting when you get home. Your home SIM is separate: its calls, texts and roaming stay on your carrier's tariff. Turn off data roaming and automatic data switching on that line if you do not intend to use it.

Yes, while the eSIM is unused. One that has never connected and has used no data is refunded in full, including when your phone turns out not to support eSIM or you could not get a connection at all. Once it has connected and carried data, contact support and we will look at it.
