Land in Nador already online
Install over Wi-Fi at home. By the time the cabin doors open you are connected, with no arrivals-hall queue and no passport handed across a counter.
| Departure | Arrival | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Charleroi (CRL) | Nador (NDR) | About 3h. The Rif gateway, and the route most Belgian families fly in August. |
| Charleroi (CRL) | Oujda (OUD) | About 3h 5m. A local prepaid SIM here is registered against your passport. The eSIM is already running. |
| Brussels (BRU) | Casablanca (CMN) | About 3h 20m. Online at the gate, before the airport train to Rabat. |
| Charleroi (CRL) | Tangier (TNG) | About 3h. Coverage holds along the coast road east towards Al Hoceima. |
Built for the summer you fly every year
Most people on this route go back more than once a year, and stay for weeks rather than days.
The profile stays on your phone. Next August, top up and go. No new QR code and no reinstall.
Order a plan and forward the QR code on WhatsApp. Installing takes about two minutes at their end.
30-day plans up to 50 GB cover a full summer stay, instead of a 7-day bundle you burn through in the first week.
Pay the way you pay at home
Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Prices in euros, with a VAT receipt in your inbox.
Coverage across the cities, the coast and the Rif, plus plan sizes and top-up rules, sits on the Morocco eSIM page. Read the Morocco guide
Morocco eSIM - frequently asked questions
Does my Belgian number stay active on WhatsApp?
Yes. Your Belgian SIM stays in the phone and the eSIM carries data only, so WhatsApp keeps running on the number your family already has.
Does it work in Nador and the Rif, not just Casablanca?
Yes. Maroc Telecom and Orange cover the coast, the cities and the main Rif towns on 4G/LTE. On the mountain roads between them the connection can drop to 3G.
Do I need my passport, like at a Moroccan SIM counter?
No. A Moroccan prepaid SIM is registered against your passport at the counter. The eSIM installs from a QR code before you leave Belgium, with nothing to register on arrival.
Can I pay with Bancontact?
Yes. Bancontact sits at checkout next to Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and cards, and you are charged in euros.
What would roaming on my Belgian contract cost?
Morocco sits outside the EU roaming rules, so the EU allowance in your Belgian bundle does not apply and data is billed out of bundle. A 10 GB eSIM costs €15.89 in total, paid upfront.
Can I buy for the whole family?
Yes, several eSIMs in one order. Each QR code arrives separately by email and can be forwarded on WhatsApp.
