eSIM support depends on the exact model, market variant and carrier-lock status. A missing Add eSIM option is a reason to investigate, not enough on its own to identify the cause.

## Check the device

- Find the model number in the phone's About settings, not only its marketing name.
- Check the manufacturer's eSIM support information for that model and market.
- On iPhone, check Settings > General > About > Carrier Lock. An unlocked device shows **No SIM restrictions**.
- If the device is locked, ask the carrier that locked it about unlocking. SimFuse cannot remove that lock.

Do not delete another eSIM to test compatibility. If installation shows an error, send support its exact wording.

## Already bought a plan?

Open its cancellation preview where available, or ask support to check the specific eSIM. Incompatibility does not by itself confirm a refund; current activation, usage, cancellation and payment records still need checking.
